Recently, COSCO SHIPPING has successfully completed the entire transportation and safe delivery of the first batch of rail vehicles of the China Railway-AVIC International Consortium Egypt Ramadan 10th City Railway Project. The first batch of 12 rail vehicles was shipped from Qingdao Port in China in mid-July, unloaded in Alexandria, Egypt, and transported to the delivery location after 300 kilometers of land transportation outside Egypt.
It is understood that the project includes multiple transportation modes such as containers and general cargo. In addition to 132 EMUs, the project also includes multiple 120-ton transformers and other ancillary equipment. The overseas transportation distance is long and needs to be delivered separately according to the type of goods.
