Malaysia has issued an US $800 million (S $1 billion) 10-year trust bond, the world's first US dollar sovereign sustainable sukuk, the Ministry of Finance said on Thursday (April 22).
Malaysia also issued a $500 million 30-year trust bond, the finance ministry said in a statement, Reuters reported.
Malaysia has increased the size of its sukuk offering to $1.3 billion from an initial $1 billion after it was 6.4 times oversubscribed.
